The preferred transport solution for the N4 Carrick on-Shannon to Dromod road project is progressing well.
That’s according to Leitrim County Council who say the preferred option will go on public display in quarter 2 of this year.
Its understood a delay occurred due to a large number of submissions on the project.
The project aims to significantly ease traffic congestion on the busy national route linking the wider north west to Dublin.
It was confirmed last year that over 2,300 submissions had been made on the project, with 200 virtual meetings held between the design team and the public.
