A public protest is taking place in Castlerea, Co Roscommon, this afternoon against refugee accommodation planned for the town.
Plans are at an advanced stage for around 50 international protection applicants to be housed in the Riverwalk complex.
A group called Castlerea Says No has organised a protest for 1pm today, starting from the Lidl store on the Knock Road.
European elections candidate, Ciaran Mullooly, from Independent Ireland, says he is opposed to the plans.
