A public consultation is to take place in Roscommon tomorrow ahead of major recreational developments in the area.
Roscommon County Council is proposing to create a greenway in the area of Lough Key Forest & Activity Park in Boyle.
The plan comes with the support of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, and will serve as a recreational facility, which will link the forest park to population centres in Boyle and Carrick-on-Shannon.
The county council encourages the public to share their opinions at a consultation at Lough Key Forest Park tomorrow between 3pm and 8pm.
Feedback forms will be provided on the day, which must be submitted by the 4th of October.
