The public is being encouraged to review emerging ideas on the Carrick on Shannon town centre masterplan
A special consultation event will take place in the Market Yard tomorrow between 10am and 2pm where locals are asked to come and view proposed plans.
The pop up stand is a follow on from a previous consultation event on February 2nd and online questionnaire.
Carrick-on-Shannon has been selected as a key town under the first phase of the national town centre first initiative.
It's hoped this project will better connect the town and river, making the Leitrim town a more vibrant place to live, work and visit.
Councillor Enda Stenson says it's important people have their say now.
'Making the town more friendly for pedestrianizing and more friendly for people to come in and sit around you know some of that has been done last year. We are talking now about say down along the Shannon around that area if you all on a map on public display in the market yard in Carrick on Shannon on Thursday from 10 o clock until 2 and I would hope that everybody in the town would come and view that map . It's all about what the people want.'
