Residents of Carrick on Shannon are being invited to give their opinions on a proposed flood relief scheme.
Information packs on the scheme have been delivered to homes and businesses in the Carrick-0n-Shannon area in recent days.
In February 2020, following a series of major flooding events, Ryan Hanley engineers were appointed by Leitrim County Council to develop a Flood Relief Scheme for the town.
Four options are being proposed and the public are being invited to share their thoughts on them at a public consultation next week.
The event will take place on Thursday July 20th from 2pm until 8pm in the Landmark Hotel and all are welcome to attend.
