Members of the public are invited to attend a meeting of the Leitrim Joint Policing Committee in Drumshanbo this evening.
Local Gardai, community representatives and officials from Leitrim County Council will be in attendance.
A discussion will be held about financial and technological safeguards as well as security in the home in the run up to winter.
