The Irish Forest Owners are holding a public meeting in Co. Leitrim next week to discuss some of the damage caused by Storm Éowyn. The event, which will take place next Tuesday evening in the Landmark Hotel in Carrick on Shannon, is aimed at people who have had their forests damaged by recent storms.
Some of the topics which will be discussed at the meeting is assessing the Government's response to date and discussing the needs of affected forest owners. Chair of the IFO, Derek McCabe says they are disappointed at the response from the Government so far:
