The public is being urged to be more carbon monoxide conscious following the death of a woman in Roscommon earlier this year.
A recent inquest at Roscommon Coroner's court heard a 59-year-old woman was found dead in her home earlier this year as a result of positioning from the colourless and odourless gas.

He says getting a carbon monoxide alarm is something every household should have.
He also feels some simple maintenance can also be crucial in preventing a build-up of the colourless and odourless gas in people's homes
