People in the Shannonside region are being encouraged to take part in a series of webinars explaining the changes proposed to water services in the region.
A public consultation is currently underway on the draft Regional Water Resources Plan for the Eastern and Midlands Region.
It proposes significant changes to water treatment plants and supplies to several communities across the region - including plans to abstract more water from the River Shannon.
The first of a series of webinars for the public took place today, with three other session taking on the third,seventh and eighth of this month.
The webinars will provide information and allow opportunities to pose questions to inform submissions
