Rail commuters in the Shannonside region are being reminded of works that will cause disruption to normal services this Bank Holiday weekend.
Irish rail has confirmed that bridge works are planned between Dromod and Boyle this Easter Saturday, April 16th.
Iarnród Éireann advises customers that a revised timetable will be in place this Easter weekend on all routes.
Customers are advised to check times before travel from Good Friday 15th April to Easter Monday 18th April inclusive for revised schedules, at www.irishrail.ie or at the Iarnród Éireann app.
Locally there are changes to services on the Sligo-to Dublin intercity on Saturday April 16th.
16:00hrs Connolly to Sligo and 16:55hrs Sligo to Connolly have been cancelled.
17:10hrs and 19:15hrs Connolly to Sligo includes bus transfers between Dromod and Carrick-on-Shannon / Boyle.
19:05hrs Sligo to Connolly includes bus transfers between Boyle/Carrick-on-Shannon and Dromod.
