Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for the Shannonside region
The bank holiday weekend will be "mixed" but Sunday is looking like the best for outdoor activities.
Met Eireann has three Status Yellow weather warnings, for wind and rain, which will become active later today and tomorrow.

Two rain warnings come into affect this afternoon and evening, affecting most of the midlands, the West and North Leinster.
Meanwhile a wind warning affecting Cork, Kerry and Waterford will come into effect during the night.
