Over 100 elite cyclists will pass through the region today as part of this years RÁS Tailteann.
Today's route will take the cyclists through Mayo, Roscommon, Longford, Cavan and Monaghan.
Today is the longest stage of the race at 175 kilometres.
The cyclists are due to pass through Frenchpark shortly before 12 o' clock this afternoon , and are due to arrive at the finish in Monaghan around 4 o' clock today.
The route travels via Tulsk, Strokestown, Tarmonbarry, Ballinalee , Granard and Ballinagh between this morning and around 2.15 this afternoon.
The cyclists will be travelling through Ballyhaise, Scotshouse, Clones and Smithborough for the rest of the afternoon before finishing in Monaghan later.
