Locals have been praising operations at vaccine rollout centres and doctor surgeries across the Shannonside Northern Sound Region.
Mass vaccination centres in Roscommon, Leitrim and Sligo have begun operations recently with local GPs also administering the various vaccine types over the last month.
The Longford mass vaccine centre is due to open at the end of April, with local GPs currently handling the rollout.
The staff and set up at two regional locations are being celebrated today for their effectiveness and friendliness.

Elsewhere in the region, William from Carrick-on Shannon received his first does of the AstraZeneca vaccine this week in the Sligo Vaccination Centre at Sligo IT.
The 55-year-old, who has been diagnosed with cancer, said the process was quick and efficient, with friendly staff who carefully looked after him.
