Relics of St Bernadette of Lourdes will arrive at Knock Airport today, in their first ever visit to Ireland.
Catholics believe she saw the Virgin Mary 18 times at the Grotto in Lourdes in 1858 - and since then, millions of pilgrims have travelled there.
The annual Elphin Pilgrimmage to Lourdes has been taking place for the past five days and includes many Shannonside pilgrims.
Bishop Kevin Doran, who has been on the pilgrimage, will bring the relics home today.
They will then be taken on a pilgrimage around Ireland, including to St Mel's Cathedral in Longford and St Nathy's Cathedral in Ballaghaderreen in the coming weeks.
Andrew Reynolds, from Rooskey in Co Roscommon, is on the Elphin Pilgrimmage - where he spoke to us from last night.
Danny Burke, from Castlerea, has been going on the Elphin Pilgrimage for over 40 years – and he also spoke to us from Lourdes last night.
