The removal of legendary GAA manager and former politician, John O'Mahony, is taking place in Co Roscommon this evening.
It's being held at 8 o'clock in St Nathy's Cathedral, where his funeral will take place at 12 noon tomorrow.
He led Leitrim's footballers to a historic Connacht title in 1994 and brought Galway to All-Ireland glory in 1998 and 2001.
He later turned to politics, serving as a Fine Gael TD and senator between 2007 and 2020.
Fianna Fáil senator Eugene Murphy has been remembering him fondly.
