At least 25 jobs will be created at Strokestown Park and Famine Museum when it re-opens at the end of next month.
The five million euro revamp of the facility boasts a new famine museum, cafe and events centre while conservation work is continuing on the house itself.
Recruitment is ongoing at the centre with positions in sales and marketing, food and beverage and visitor services available.
The museum is also looking for volunteers to help out at times.
General Manager John O'Driscoll says the revamp will be of huge benefit to the economy.
