Repairs works to traffic lights at one of Longford town's busiest junctions are due to begin today.
Lights at the corner of Main Street and Richmond Street have been on flashing amber for over a week.
The loss of the lights has been met with a mixed reaction by locals, with some drivers believing that the traffic flow in the town has improved with the lights being out of traditional working order.
Longford County Council has confirmed that repairs are due to begin today and will be completed by March 16th.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution as repairs are going.
