Repairs to traffic lights at a busy Longford junction have now been completed.
Amber lights were continuously flashing at the intersection of Main Street and Richmond Street since Saturday, February 26th.
Councillor Gerry Warnock informed a recent meeting of Longford Municipal District that locals felt the fault improved traffic congestion in the town.

While Council officials say it's not possible to keep the amber beacons, the new lights system which has been installed will help with traffic flow.
The independent councillor is welcoming the news.
