Rescue hens are looking for new homes in the Shannonside Northern Sound
Region from today.
The animal rescue charity Little Hill Animal rescue and Sanctuary are
looking to find homes for hundreds of battery caged hens and have arranged
collection points in all 26 counties due to Covid-19 guidelines.
Anyone interested in the Shannonside Region can go to Carrick-on-Shannon, or
Granard today, while people in the Northern Sound Region can adopt tomorrow
from Kingscourt,Cavan Town,Virginia, Emyvale, or Castleblayney.
