A Roscommon-based non-profit organisation has hit back following a controversial episode of RTÉ's Prime Time Investigates.
The investigation gained access to internal documents from three major charities, revealing breaches of trust in the use of money donated to them.
The episode focused on issues within the Peter McVerry Trust, the Kerry-based Animal Heaven Animal Rescue, and the Cat Haven charity in Cork, which is no longer in function.

Veronica Barrett is the Director of Services at RHS Homecare, which provides home care services to families in the Midlands.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, she explained that the broadcaster should also give the spotlight to the positive services that a lot of charities offer:
