The use of the river Shannon for cruising this year has equaled the figures of the previous two years during the Covid pandemic.
Numbers on the waterway increased substantially during the pandemic with many people having to holiday at home rather than travel abroad.
Western Regional Manager Brian Tracey says the agency has looked at the figures for people using the river over this year and is pleased that the trend is still very positive.
