Longford County Council is advising the public of road closures in Longford town from this evening.
The Longford Summer Festival gets underway today with 4 nights of music planned.
To facilitate the festival, the Main Street in Longford from the Post Office junction to its junction with Richmond Street at the Longford Arms Hotel will close from 5pm to 11:30pm starting this evening.

All through traffic is asked to use the N4 & N5, and diversions will be in place in the Town Centre for local traffic.
The evening closures will be in place until Saturday night.
