Local road closures are to take place to facilitate this year's Longford Marathon.
Longford County Council is advising the public of the road closures ahead of tomorrow's event.
The R198 Battery Road from Lisbrack Roundabout as well as Main Street to Chapel Lane will be closed tomorrow from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm

The council is urging motorists to take alternative routes throughout the duration of the marathon.
