Robert Troy returns to the junior ministerial ranks

Robert Troy is to return to the junior ministerial ranks. The Fianna Fail TD - who stepped down in 2022 after failing to declare property interests - is to be appointed in the Department of Finance.

There is also a promotion for Niamh Smyth, while Timmy Dooley will become Junior Minister for the Marine. For Fine Gael, Colm Brophy will become the new migration minister, while there are also promotions for Jerry Buttimer and John Cummins. Local TD's Martin Daly and Frank Feighan have missed out on a ministerial position.
