A Roscommon bus firm has left Ireland on its second special refugee mission to Ukraine.
Aidan Geraghty from Geraghty Travel has helped almost 150 Ukrainians get to Ireland since March of this year.
Yesterday, the Castlerea native left Roscommon with a 52 seater coach filled with over 20 pallets of food, medicine and toiletries.
The local businessman hopes to arrive in Kyiv on Sunday and on his return he will bring Ukrainian citizens to destinations across Europe.
A GoFund Me page called coach to Ukraine and back has been set up to assist the operation with over 40,000 euro raised to date.
Aidan will accompanied on the trip by four other drivers as well as his teenage daughter Gemmisha.
