A Roscommon bus operator has described the Ukrainian Poland border as a frightening silence.
Geraghty Travel based in Castlerea left Ireland last week to bring humanitarian aid to a school and community centre in Zamosc in Poland.

Owner, Aidan Geraghty says those fleeing left with just one suitcase and were in a state of shock.
The Castlerea native now hopes to continue to assist the families here in Ireland.
