A rural Roscommon business has been broken into for the 7th time this year, with the most recent incident occurring early yesterday morning. Gardaí are investigating a reported burglary of O'Connor's Pub and Shop in Tulsk at around 4 o'clock yesterday morning.
According to the owners, a significant amount of damage was done to the property and just a small amount taken from the premises. Eugene O'Connor runs the business and speaking to the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, says they have been targeted numerous times:

The local business man is warning that local pubs and restaurants in rural areas will start to close if nothing is done to stem the tide of burglaries:
