Roscommon County Council was due to collect €12.7 million in 2024 - but only €11.5 million was paid.

Roscommon businesses did not pay almost 1.2 million euro in commercial rates last year.

Roscommon County Council was due to collect €12.7 million in 2024 - but only €11.5 million was paid.

This is a 91 per cent collection rate - up from 88 per cent in 2023.

Tarmonbarry councillor Tom Crosby says it's one of the highest collection rates in the country.
