A Roscommon company director and a Castleblayney packaging provider are among the 17 tax defaulters listed by Revenue today.
Almost €20 million in settlements were made between July 1st and September 30th this year, with over 7.5 million of that being to local people.
Michael Feeley, a company director and farmer from Roscommon has a total bill of €4,920,000 following a Revenue Audit Case that found the non-declaration of Capital Gains Tax.
€2.4 million of which was for tax, €720,000 in interest and €1.8 million in penalties.
The settlement has been paid in full.
Shabra Plastics and Packaging in Castleblayney is also included on the latest list after a Revenue Investigation Case for the under-declaration of VAT.
A total bill of €1,788,798 was paid back in full, and included over €1.3 million in tax and almost €400,000 in penalties.
Oil distribution company in Carrickmacross, Princeville Enterprises Limited was given a bill of €819,331 for the non-declaration of excise duty and the under-declaration of VAT from a Revenue Audit.
€443,517 was in tax, with €311,733 in penalties. It has been paid back in full.
Alan Horohoe, a marquee hire operator who trades as Ventura Marquee Hire in Lansboro was included on the list for the non-declaration of income tax, PAYE, PRSI, USC and VAT.
He was billed €87,099, with just over €12,000 still unpaid as of the end of September.]
