A local elections candidate says the shortage of late-night taxis in Roscommon town must be addressed. Fianna Fáil candidate Larry Brennan, who also runs a well-known pub in the town, says the issue is affecting the night-time economy. He said the recent pandemic lockdowns saw a number of operators exiting the market and those left are now unable to cope with demand.
