A mass due to be held in St Coman's cemetery in Roscommon town this evening has been moved to the local church instead because of the inclement weather conditions.
The decision has been taken that the mass will now take place instead in the Sacred heart Church at 7.45 pm.
Meanwhile Met Eireann is warning that wind and rain is likely to continue into the weekend.

A status yellow warning is in place this afternoon, which impacts 25 counties.
Rain is expected to ease by around 7pm, however will continue until midnight in Donegal.
