A Roscommon choir is to travel to Liverpool for a special performance.
The Roscommon Solstice Choir will participate in the Liverpool/Irish Festival as a tribute to culture and the ties the city has to the struggle of Irish migrants during the Famine.
The group will also visit the resting place of the well-known Roscommon songwriter, entertainer, poet and painter, Percy French, and will perform a concert of his songs in St. Luke's Church of England.
The festival will be taking place from the 24th to the 28th of October.
