The festive period will start with a bang in Roscommon this weekend as the county's Christmas Festival takes place.
There's a wide variety of events planned throughout the weekend and Santa Claus himself will be visiting the town once more.
It all kicks off with Christmas Markets in the new-look Square this afternoon featuring fire and circus performances.
Tourism Officer with Roscommon County Council, Lisa Joy, says there's something for all ages.
