A Sinn Fein councillor is hitting out at the planned 5 per cent increase in commercial rates in Roscommon next year. The blow to businesses is due to be confirmed at Roscommon County Council's budget meeting tomorrow.
It'll be the first increase in commercial rates in the county in around 20 years. The council coalition is backing the increase - but Councillor Leah Cull, who's in opposition, says she's against it:
