A Roscommon councillor has called on Transport for Ireland to carry out a review of Local Link timetables. Cllr Marty McDermott told a recent Roscommon Municipal District meeting that users of the service weren't being given enough time in local towns. He said a number of local residents and business owners had raised the issue with him in recent weeks.
The Local Link service connects towns and villages across the Shannonside region with a number of daily services. Speaking to Shannonside News, however, Cllr McDermott said the round trip service left little time for daily errands:
