Two Roscommon councillors are expressing disappointment Fianna Fáil TD Martin Daly didn't get a junior ministry yesterday. The Ballygar GP was tipped for one of the positions, but Taoiseach Micheál Martin opted for others.
Daly was elected to the Dáil for the first time in the general election in November, in the Roscommon-Galway constituency. His party colleague, Councillor John Keogh, is unhappy Daly didn't get a minister of state role:
