Roscommon County Council has been given approval by local Councillors to progress with plans for a major new library in Boyle.
This week the north Roscommon municipal district members were asked to give the green light to the project which will based to the rear of the Royal Hotel site.
The 5,000 square metre site will form a key part of a regeneration project in the town.
