Roscommon County Council is seeking planning permission for the enhancement of a popular local park. Part 8 planning permission is being sought for the works at the Cootehall Village Park. Plans include the resurfacing of the existing walkway, creation of a covered outdoor with age friendly seating and soft landscaping to include trees, shrubs and grass.
The Council are also seeking to extend the existing play area with the provision of a new mini basketball court, with car parking also set for an increase. Roscommon County Councillors will decide on the issue at an upcoming meeting of the Boyle Municipal District.
