Roscommon County Council have requested further information on the development leading the decision date to be pushed back.

According to figures released under the Freedom of Information Act, a controversial new architectural feature in the Square cost €1.4 million to complete. 

The timber and concrete covered space has received mixed reviews from the public since its unveiling on the new-look Square in the county town.
