A series of interactive drop in workshops to help devise the local economic and community plan for Roscommon will take place over the next week.
The strategy will inform the way the County grows and changes over the next six years.
Previous plans looked at community grants, social inclusion projects as well as community infrastructure.
The consultation evenings begin in Roscommon Library this evening at 6pm, the Trinity Arts Centre Castlerea tomorrow evening from 7pm and at CDP, The Shamples in Ballaghadereen at 7pm.
The workshops continue next Tuesday March 28th in the Athlone Spring Hotels, in King House Boyle on Wednesday March 29th and Thursday March 30th in the Percy French Hotel Storkestown all at 7pm.
Una Ní Chuinn Senior Executive Officer at the Community and Enterprise section is encouraging the public to have their say.
''We're asking the public about the challenges facing people in Roscommon, how do you think life could be better, what have we done well, where should we go in the future. I'd ask people to come out to our evenings or we have a LECP Facebook page and there's a link on their for an online survey. ''
