People in the Shannonside region who have accommodation for hire in the next fortnight are being asked to contact Shannonside FM.
The appeal comes ahead of the Midsummers Weekend with the Stars which is expected to draw thousands to the area over the 17th and 18th of June.
The biggest challenge being faced in terms of the organising of the event is the lack of suitable accommodation for people who will be travelling long distances to attend.

Hotels and major guesthouses in the Roscommon area have been sold out for weeks and anyone who might have accommodation available that weekend is being asked to contact [email protected]
