The former Roscommon star was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2021 and died on Saturday, at the age of 30.

Rochelle Mullaney's funeral Mass has heard she was so devoted to Kilbride GAA in Co Roscommon she played in a county final while undergoing cancer treatment.

The former Roscommon star was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2021 and died on Saturday, at the age of 30.

Rochelle was an integral part of the Kilbride ladies' team, which won five county titles in a row.

At her funeral Mass in Fourmilehouse today, her sister Vanessa recalled her love of the club.

Her Kilbride jersey was one of the gifts brought up during the Mass.

Symbols of her other loves in life were also brought up, including her family, travel, clothes and her new house.

Vanessa explained why her nickname was Rocky.
