Western Gaels and Roscommon Gaels marched into the quarter-finals of the Hudson Bay Hotel Roscommon championship after convincing wins in their final group games.
Western-Gaels made it three wins form three recording a 4-20 to 1-10 win over St Croan's in a game they dominated from the throw-in.
Goals from Aidan Dowd, James McDonald and Finbarr Cregg set Western Gaels on their way as they led 3-10 to three points at half-time.
Luke Ester’s second half goal put gloss on the victory as Croan’s Aidan Brogan landed 1-6. The victory see’s Western Gaels win Group B.
Meanwhile Roscommon Gaels booked their place in the quarter-final after a commanding 2-12 to 13 points win over Fuerty in Mulhern Park.
The game was set after just eight minutes when Mark Healy found the Fuerty net as Roscommon Gaels ran into a 1-5 to three point half-time lead.
While Fuerty railed Ronan Carolan’s goal 11 minutes in the second half sealed Roscommon Gaels victory and passage into the quarter-final 2-12 to 13 points.

The draw for the play-off round was made on Sunday night with St. Croans draw as team seven and enter the quarter-final stage, meaning Micheal Glavey’s and Elphin will play-off for the final quarter-final place.
