A driver in Roscommon has been arrested following a number of traffic offences.
The Roscommon Roads Policing Unit made the arrest this morning on the R368 between Four mile house and Strokestown.
The motorist came to the attention of Gardaí as they noticed the car speeding during wet road conditions.

They were stopped and proceeded to test positive for Cannabis.
A fixed charge penalty notice was issued and the driver will appear in court over the offences.
