The Chief Executive of Roscommon County Council says plans to connect parts of the county with greenways are progressing well.
Shane Tiernan says their aim is to have a network of greenways and recreational trails that are interconnected.
Included in the plans is having a greenway that goes from the south of the county in Athlone all the way up to Tarmonbarry and Strokestown.
