The country's 14-day incidence rate of Covid-19 now stands at 1,211 cases per 100,000 people.
A month ago, it was less than 500.
Leitrim's rate now stands at 1,691 - the highest in the country, followed by Louth, with 1,631.
Westmeath and Carlow also have rates of over 1,600.
23 counties now have rates of over 1,000.
Roscommon's is the lowest in the country, at 882.
Monaghan and Wexford are the only other counties with rates of less than 1,000.
