The HSE Covid lead for Roscommon is warning of growing numbers of people with long term effects of the disease.
She told Shannon FM news that there is reluctance among people who have received their first boosters to get their second jab.
A pop up COVID 19 vaccination centre is open this Saturday, at Castlerea Primary Care Centre.
Vaccines will be administered between 10 am and 4 pm to those who have booked on the HSE website
Jean Kelly is encouraging people to get fully vaccinated to avoid the worst effects of the virus.
"The numbers of people with long Covid are absolutely phenomenal, there are quite large numbers of people left with long Covid after having Covid, so you don't want that either, you don't want Covid , you don't want to get very sick. So I am encouraging everyone to come and get their next booster."
