The Roscommon Hospital Action Committee says a new outpatient department is not a priority for the facility. It's after Ballygar GP Martin Daly claimed the ward is no longer fit for purpose and needs to be replaced.

But the HAC claims a long-promised 8 million euro specialist rehab unit is the priority for the hospital. Councillor Valerie Byrne, from the committee, says she doesn't agree with the Fianna Fáil general election candidate's comments:
