Manager of Roscommon Hospital, Mary Garvey, is warning those who attend Emergency Departments with minor injuries will face a significant wait to be seen, in comparison to quicker treatment times at the injury units.

Visits must be pre-arranged.

Tony Ward says the lack of spaces is forcing those attending the facility to walk a distance.

It's the second outbreak at the facility in recent days.

The trial moves into its 12th day at the Central Criminal Court tomorrow

The Injury Unit treats suspected broken bones, sprains, cuts, burns, scalds and other similar non-life threatening ailments.
