The increase comes at an average annual rise of 16%, twice the rate in commuter counties.

House prices in Roscommon increased at twice the rate of the east coast last year.
That's according to the REA Average House Price Index for Quarter 4.

The Index showed that the absence of new home buildings and low supply has seen three bed semi-detached homes in Roscommon increase by over €10,000 in the past 12 weeks.
The increase comes at an average annual rise of 16%, twice the rate in commuter counties.
The battle for the purchase of cheaper homes has caused unprecedented annual price inflation, with REA agents nationwide predicting a 6% rise in house prices in 2025.
